Description
1) Objective
Despite the progressive legal and policy environment in Uganda, there are challenges facing refugees. Amongst these are: timely registration and issuance of civil and identity documents; timely Refugee Status Determination process relatively high levels of gender-based violence (GBV), many children at risk, limited psychosocial support, and lack of youth engagement due to limited educational and employment opportunities.
In addition, refugee protection is affected by the limited capacity and infrastructure to address the social-economic needs of refugees and host populations. As envisioned under the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF), ensuring equitable social-economic support, and improved basic service delivery for both local communities and refugees remains central to preserving the asylum space.
2) Eligibility
In order to be considered as an implementing partners, applicants must meet the following criteria: must be non-governmental organisations and must have sector and region experience.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Uganda. There are various lots for different project areas.
4) Budget
