Description
1) Objective
Objective: To contribute to the protection of nature and biodiversity by:
- raising awareness of the benefits of nature conservation,
- supporting nature and biodiversity policy and legislation compliance assurance, and/or
- supporting access to justice in nature and biodiversity policy and legislation-related matters.
The present Call topic targets Standard Action Projects (SAP) aimed at achieving the objectives of the LIFE Nature and Biodiversity sub-programme by improving governance and information at all levels, as defined in sections 1 and 2 of the Call document. This call topic focuses exclusively on governance and information projects; other projects in line with the objectives of the LIFE Nature and Biodiversity sub-programme but defined in the Call topic LIFE-2025-SAP-NAT-NATURE are excluded.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must be legal entities (public or private bodies) registered in an eligible country.
3) Location
LIFE projects shall take place in the territory of the European Union Member States plus Ukraine, Moldova, North Macedonia.
4) Budget
Funding rate is 60% and the EU contribution ranges from €1,000,000-€2,000,000. Total funding available is €3,500,000. They want to fund 3 projects.
5) Application
Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Funding & Tenders Portal Electronic Submission System (accessible via the Topic page in the Search Funding & Tenders section. Paper submissions are NOT possible. The deadline is 23 September 2025.
