Description

1) Objective

The Reece Foundation support WASH projects that connect skilled volunteer tradespeople to communities in need of access to water and sanitation and/or irrigation and water solutions to food insecurity, both in Australia and overseas.

The Reece Foundation accepts Grant applications that meet the following guidelines:

  • The application is submitted by a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Identifies a need for access to clean water, sanitation, or water for agricultural & food security purposes.
  • Clearly articulates the potential impact on the community.
  • Outlines how the organisation has consulted with and involved the community in the proposed project development.
  • Includes the trade-skills required for the project in addressing the need identified by the community.

2) Eligibility

Eligible is a not-for-profit organisation or community group or individual or group of individuals sponsored by a not-for-profit or community organisation.

3) Location

Actions can take place worldwide.

4) Budget

Grants awarded range between $5,000 – $30,000. When applying, you can request an amount that falls anywhere within that range, provided you’ve demonstrating how the funding will be used to meet the above assessment criteria.

5) Application

Grant applications are now open and close at 12.00am (AEST) on Monday the 16th of October. To apply, click on the link on their website and complete all application questions. All successful applicants will be contacted within 8 weeks of application close date.
