Description
1) Objective
Within the framework of the European Union’s CERV Programme (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values), the Ecumenical Women’s Initiative in a consortium with the Mediterranean Women’s Fund from France and the Calala Fondo de Mujeres from Spain, announces a public Call for financing projects aimed at prevention, as well as a better systematic response to the problem of gender-based violence.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to grassroots civil society organisations: (1) led by women and/or in which women have decision-making roles and are responsible for project implementation; (2) which are registered and operate in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro or Serbia; (3) which work and/or have the knowledge and resources to work on preventing and/or combatting gender-based violence; (4) which respect EU values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union and Article 21 of the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro or Serbia.
4) Budget
Total available funding is €590,000. Grants may range from €20,000-€60,000.

Deadline for submitting applications is 15.10.2026 at 12:00 (noon).
