Description
1) Objective
WeWorld, active in Kenya since 2009, is implementing the “Sikiliza Sauti Yetu: Dunia Inaita!” project (co-funded by the EU and partners) to strengthen youth-centered civil society engagement in climate action in Isiolo, Nairobi, and Kwale Counties.
WeWorld is inviting non-profit CSOs and CBOs—especially those already active in climate resilience, sustainable land management, or community climate engagement—to apply for sub-grants to support local climate initiatives, awareness, and capacity building. The objective of the call is to support CSOs/CBOs in strengthening their capacity, voice, and civic engagement in climate action.
2) Eligibility
Eligible organisations include Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) that are non-profit and operate independently from the state.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Kenya. WeWorld is requesting for proposals from eligible organisations that will be sub-granted to implement grant activities in three target counties of Isiolo, Nairobi and Kwale.
4) Budget
