Description
1) Objective
The Jana Robeyst Trust Fund (JRTF) support the conversation of elephants. Jana was passionate about her work. Her parents and brother would like to honor her memory with a Trust Fund that will allow others to continue her work. This means the financial support of the study and protection of endangered species and more specifically the elephants.
2) Eligibility
The Jana Robeyst Trust Fund (JRTF) provides financial resources for non-profit organisations and individuals to carry out vital field conservation work in Africa.
3) Location
This funding program is open to individuals or organisations for projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Priority will be given to projects related to the conservation of forest elephants. Applicants can be based anywhere in the world. Education projects will also be considered.
4) Budget
Small grants will be awarded up to a maximum of €1,500.
5) Application
Interested applicants should submit the grant form in English or French. Deadlines are 30th April, 31th August and 31th December of each year. The outcomes are announced maximum six weeks after the deadline. If awarded, the funds will be allocated within four weeks after acceptance to the individual’s bank account.
