Description
1) Objective
The Embassy of France is pleased to share with you the application documents and procedure for the French Sport Fund Call for Proposals: “Strengthening Dialogue with Ethiopian Youth through Sport.” The call aims to support projects in the following areas:
- Enhancing access to and participation in parasport for youth with disabilities.
- Promoting gender equality and social inclusion through sport-based youth engagement.
- Developing and promoting new urban sports (breakdancing, skateboarding, BMX freestyle, climbing), inspired by the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
2) Eligibility
Eligible recipients include: Civil society organizations (CSOs): be an Ethiopian CSO legally registered with the Ethiopian Agency
for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO), or a foreign NGO applying in consortium with an Ethiopian CSO; Sport federations / Olympic committee: be an Ethiopian sport federation /Olympic committee that operates under a non-profit or public legal structure;
3) Location
Actions must take place in Ethiopia.
4) Budget
Applicants can submit a proposition requesting up to €25,000 (4M ETB) of contribution from the French Sport Fund.
5) Application
The deadline for submission is September 8, 2025 – 08:00 AM.
