Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen societal resilience against information manipulation and disinformation in the Eastern Partnership. The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals are to:
- Strengthen the capacity of civil society, factcheckers and independent media in detecting and countering FIMI and disinformation.
- Enhance media and digital literacy of citizens, in particular in rural and underserved areas.
The priority(ies) of this call for proposals is/are: (1) countering FIMI and disinformation, (2) media and digital literacy, (3) factchecking and investigative initiatives, (3) regional and cross-border cooperation in the Eastern Partnership, (4) community resilience against disinformation.
2) Eligibility
Eligible organisations are: (1) non-profit-making; (2) be a civil society organisation; (3) and be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action.
3) Location
Actions must take place in the country(ies) of the Eastern Partnership.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €5,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €4,900,000 and maximum €5,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (55%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 8 September 2025.
