Description
1) Objective
- Output 1: Capacity for CBNRM is built through establishment of four CSCs selected from within the governorates of Ajloun, Balqa, Irbid, Jerash, Mafraq. Achievement of this output will strengthen the community-based committees to serve as focal points and advocate for sustainable and climate resilient natural resources management in the community.
- Output 2: CSCs are institutionalized through a time-bound workplan and are supported to enhance community-based livelihoods, raise awareness, organize events and volunteer opportunities related to sustainable and climate resilient natural resources management in the community. Achievement of this output will raise awareness and engender support for responsible community led natural resources management in the surrounding community that also builds climate resilience.
- Output 3: A replicable model for community-led natural resources management in Jordan is established and documented. Achievement of this output will allow government and development partners to scale the tested model in future programming.
