Description
1) Objective
The overall objective of the Action and this call for proposals is: To strengthen women’s participation in conflict prevention and resolution, as well as peacebuilding in Chad, in accordance with the requirements of the Women, Peace, and Security agenda.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
– SO1. “To improve knowledge and effective implementation of national, regional, and international laws and legal instruments protecting the human rights of women and girls affected by conflict and gender-based violence (GBV).”
– SO2. “To ensure relief and recovery for women and girls affected by conflict and gender-based violence (GBV), particularly displaced persons, returnees, and refugees, and the populations hosting them, by facilitating their access to basic services, including justice, and their economic and social reintegration.”
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit making and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Chad.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €5,250,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €4,750,000 and maximum €5,250,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (70%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 11 November 2025.
