Description
1) Objective
The U.S. Embassy Belmopan Public Affairs Section (PAS) Annual Program Statement aims to strengthen the relationship between the United States and Belize by promoting bilateral cooperation and highlighting shared values. Through its Public Diplomacy Grants Program, PAS Belmopan seeks proposals that incorporate American cultural elements, support priority program areas, or facilitate connections with American experts, organizations, or institutions.
The program encourages projects that enhance mutual understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives while fostering cultural exchange and collaboration between the two nations. Grant proposals should align with the outlined funding priorities and strategic themes, emphasizing initiatives that contribute to the advancement of U.S.-Belize relations.

4) Budget
The total program funding available is currently unspecified, pending funds availability. The expected number of awards is 4, with award amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 per project.
5) Application
Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, with two rounds of submissions ending on May 31, 2024, and July 31, 2024, respectively. Projects proposed in Round 1 should aim to start no later than July 2024, while those in Round 2 should plan to begin no later than September 2024.
