Description
1) Objective
To ensure the adequate protection of forcibly displaced and stateless persons, UNHCR requires partners to adhere to applicable sector standards outlined within UNHCR’s areas of specialization. Goal/objective: Establishing an effective and timely a Cash Based Interventions Feedback, Complaints and Response Mechanism (FCRM) to provide information and counselling for asylum-seekers and refugees and to effectively address cash-related complaints and appeals.
Expected Outcomes:
• Call center services: share relevant assistance-related information with the refugees and respond to their inquiries and complaints to enhance refugee’s knowledge about all aspects of UNHCR cash assistance and to facilitate and support cash distributions. The call center will also proactively call selected beneficiaries referred by UNHCR to provide specialized counseling.
• Help desks and counselling services for asylum-seekers and refugees that provide face-to-face counseling.
• Effective and timely responsive cash-related complaints management mechanism, including grievances and appeals related to eligibility decisions.
